Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026 · The terms that govern your use of Singy.
1. Acceptance of Terms
Singy is operated by Kronosense Technologies L.L.C-FZ (Licence No. 2529704.01; Formation No. 2529704), a free-zone company registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with its registered office at Meydan Grandstand, 6th Floor, Meydan Road, Nad Al Sheba, Dubai, U.A.E. ("Singy", "we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using Singy (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and Kronosense Technologies L.L.C-FZ. We may update these Terms from time to time; material changes will be communicated via the Service or by email to the address associated with your account. Continued use after such notice constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years of age (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher) to use the Service. By using Singy, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
3. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at hello@singy.ai if you suspect any unauthorized access. We are not liable for any loss arising from unauthorized use of your account where you have failed to safeguard your credentials.
4. Subscription Plans & Payments
Singy offers Free, Pro, and Studio subscription tiers. Free plans are subject to monthly generation limits. Paid plans ("Pro" and "Studio") renew automatically on a monthly billing cycle via Stripe. You may cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for the remaining days of a billing cycle. We reserve the right to modify pricing with at least 30 days' advance notice. Applicable taxes (VAT, GST, sales tax) are charged in addition to the listed price where required by law.
5. Fair Usage Policy
Pro and Studio plans include "unlimited" song generation subject to this Fair Usage Policy ("FUP"). The FUP is designed to ensure a quality experience for all users and to prevent abuse of shared infrastructure. Permitted use: Generating songs for personal enjoyment, gifts, social media, events, and non-automated creative workflows is fully permitted and typical users will never be affected by this policy. Prohibited use: The following activities are not permitted under "unlimited" plans: (a) automated, scripted, or bot-driven bulk generation; (b) systematic downloading or scraping of generated content for resale, dataset creation, or redistribution at scale; (c) sharing account credentials to circumvent per-user limits; (d) using the Service to operate a competing music-generation product; (e) any activity that degrades system performance or availability for other users. Thresholds: We monitor aggregate usage patterns — not individual song content. If your account consistently exceeds 50 songs per day or 500 songs per month, we may contact you to discuss your use case. We will always attempt to resolve matters informally before taking any restrictive action. Enforcement: If we determine, acting reasonably and in good faith, that your usage violates this FUP, we may: (i) notify you and request that you adjust your usage within a reasonable timeframe (typically 7 days); (ii) temporarily throttle generation speed; (iii) as a last resort, suspend or terminate your access. You may appeal any enforcement action by contacting hello@singy.ai. This FUP shall be interpreted in accordance with the principles of good faith and fair dealing recognized under the UNIDROIT Principles of International Commercial Contracts and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG), to the extent applicable.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Singy to: (a) generate content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, threatening, obscene, or sexually exploitative, particularly involving minors; (b) infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights, including but not limited to copyrights, trademarks, and rights of publicity; (c) impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation; (d) introduce malware, viruses, or any other harmful code; (e) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service's infrastructure; (f) violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation. We reserve the right to remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy, with or without prior notice depending on severity.
7. Intellectual Property & Content Ownership
You retain all rights to the original prompts, lyrics, and descriptions you submit to the Service ("User Input"). Subject to these Terms, you are granted a license to use the AI-generated songs ("Output") as follows: Free plan: A non-exclusive, non-transferable, royalty-free license for personal, non-commercial use only. Pro plan: A non-exclusive, non-transferable, royalty-free license for personal use, including sharing on social media platforms and at private events. Commercial use (advertising, broadcast, monetized content) is not permitted on the Pro plan. Studio plan: A non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license for both personal and commercial use, including in advertisements, films, broadcasts, and monetized digital content, subject to applicable third-party platform terms. You acknowledge that AI-generated content may not qualify for copyright protection in all jurisdictions (see e.g. the Berne Convention, U.S. Copyright Office guidance, EU AI Act recitals). We make no representation regarding the copyrightability of Output in any jurisdiction. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by Kronosense Technologies L.L.C-FZ. "Singy", the Singy logo, and related marks are trademarks of Kronosense Technologies L.L.C-FZ. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our name, logo, or trademarks without our prior written permission. The licenses granted above apply to the Output you generate, not to the Singy brand.
8. Privacy & Data Protection
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy (available at /privacy). For users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR") and equivalent local implementations. For users in California, we comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA") as amended by the CPRA. For users in other jurisdictions, we comply with applicable data protection legislation. You may exercise your data rights (access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection) by contacting hello@singy.ai.
9. Third-Party Services
Singy integrates with third-party services including Stripe (payments), Google Cloud (AI models), and Cloudflare (infrastructure). Your use of these services is additionally subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices, content, or availability of any third-party service.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED. AI-GENERATED OUTPUT MAY CONTAIN INACCURACIES, ARTIFACTS, OR UNINTENDED CONTENT; YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR REVIEWING OUTPUT BEFORE USE.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL Singy, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY (CONTRACT, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE) AND WHETHER OR NOT WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS (USD $100). NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES OR LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LAWFULLY EXCLUDED OR LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, INCLUDING LIABILITY FOR FRAUD, GROSS NEGLIGENCE, OR DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY CAUSED BY NEGLIGENCE.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Singy and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third party's rights; or (d) any Output you create, distribute, or commercialize using the Service.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for material breach of these Terms, subject to the enforcement procedures described in the Fair Usage Policy where applicable. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or through your account settings. Upon termination: (a) your license to use the Service and any Output ceases immediately (except for Output already lawfully distributed under your plan's license); (b) we may delete your account data after a reasonable retention period in accordance with our Privacy Policy; (c) any outstanding payment obligations survive termination.
14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Emirate of Dubai, United Arab Emirates and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. For consumers within the European Union, nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under applicable EU consumer protection law, including the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, except where prohibited by local law. Before initiating formal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation for a period of at least thirty (30) days.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, or if modification is not possible, severed from these Terms. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any plan-specific terms presented at the time of subscription, constitute the entire agreement between you and Singy with respect to the Service and supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements, understandings, and communications, whether written or oral.
