Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026 · How Singy collects, uses, and protects your data.
1. Who we are (data controller)
Singy is operated by Kronosense Technologies L.L.C-FZ (Licence No. 2529704.01), a free-zone company registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, registered office: Meydan Grandstand, 6th Floor, Meydan Road, Nad Al Sheba, Dubai, U.A.E.. Kronosense Technologies L.L.C-FZ is the controller responsible for your personal data. You can reach us at hello@singy.ai.
2. Information we collect
Account data: your email address and display name. If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google profile (name, email, and profile picture). Content you create: the prompts, lyrics, styles, languages and other inputs you submit, and the songs, audio, cover art and video we generate for you. Payment data: payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number — Stripe handles card data directly. We store your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers and your billing/plan status. Technical and usage data: IP address, device/browser information, and request logs (used for security and abuse prevention), plus product analytics about how the Service is used.
3. Cookies & analytics
We use browser localStorage to keep you signed in and to remember preferences (theme, language) — these are strictly necessary for the Service to work. We also use Google Analytics (measurement ID G-SYSZ23VJ40) to understand aggregate usage and improve Singy. Where required by law (e.g. in the EEA/UK), analytics cookies are used only with your consent, which you can give or withdraw at any time. We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising.
4. How we use your data and our legal bases
We use your data to: provide and deliver the Service (generate and store your songs); operate, secure and improve Singy; process payments and manage subscriptions; communicate service and account messages; and prevent abuse. Where the GDPR applies, our legal bases are: performance of our contract with you (providing the Service), our legitimate interests (security, improvement, fraud prevention), your consent (analytics and marketing email, where applicable), and compliance with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not "share" it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
5. Service providers (sub-processors)
We share data only with providers that process it on our behalf under appropriate confidentiality and data-protection terms: Cloudflare (hosting, database and media storage); Google (AI model generation via Gemini/Vertex, Google Sign-In, and Google Analytics); and Stripe (payment processing). Each acts only as needed to operate Singy.
6. International data transfers
We operate from the United Arab Emirates and our providers may process data in the UAE, the European Union, the United States and other locations. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as the providers' Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms) to protect it.
7. Data retention
We keep your account and generated content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account (Dashboard → "Delete my account") or ask us to, we delete your personal data and media and cancel any active subscription, ordinarily within 30 days, except where we must retain limited records to comply with legal, tax, or accounting obligations or to resolve disputes. Residual copies in routine backups are overwritten on a rolling basis.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export (port), restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. You can delete your account and data yourself from your dashboard, or email hello@singy.ai. EEA/UK users may also lodge a complaint with their local data-protection supervisory authority. California residents (CCPA/CPRA) have the right to know, delete, and correct their personal information and to opt out of sale/sharing — we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined.
9. Children
Singy is not directed to children under 16 (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, if higher). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children below that age. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact hello@singy.ai and we will delete it.
10. Security
We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit, scoped access controls, and signed, expiring URLs for private media. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and to notify you and the relevant authorities of any qualifying breach as required by law.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the Service or by email. The "last updated" date below reflects the latest revision.
